Once again this week has come and finished quickly. We said our goodbyes to the
Cerratos. I am thankful that we were the last team for they appeared ready for
some well-deserved rest.
The Hollidays would join us on our trip home since they had felt they had seen
all they needed to in order to make a decision as to whether to come down as
missionaries or not. We did make one final shopping stop to a store that, as
Rocky described, looked like a “Stuckey’s”. It did not have the the same character or fascination of the mercado. Plus
there was no negotiating of the price!
Since we have had several traditions that have developed over these past three
trips, one that has continued is flight delays. This time the flight from Miami
to Nashville was delayed about an hour and a half. No one complained. We
instead played games and enjoyed good conversation while the Hollidays tried to
put their three young children to sleep. I finally rested my weary head at 2am.
We were all weary, but certainly content wondering would the Lord bring us back
to Honduras again.
“I am with you and will watch over you wherever you go, and I will bring you back
to this land.”
Genesis 28:15
