The speed at which this week passed was incredible. I find it difficult to believe we are heading home when I fell like we just got here. Before leaving, an “impersonation” contest was held between Eric and Alfredo, each taking a turn impersonating the other. Close contest but the nod would have to go to Alfredo when Eric finally admitted, “Alfredo does me better than I do!”

More farewells, this time to everyone in the Cerrato household. What gracious hosts thay have all been, allowing the sixteen of us to virtually invade their home these past eight days. Never did we hear a single complaint but instead heard joyous laughter.

Once we arrived at the airport in San Pedro Sula, we discovered our first “setback” . . . our flight from Miami to Nashville that evening was cancelled. That meant a short night’s sleep in an average hotel with below average food and even well below average service. This could hardly be described as a problem in light of the economic condition of the country we just left behind.

“I am with you and will watch over you wherever you go, and I will bring you back to this land.”
Genesis 28:15
